Inserted sliders may efficiently increase the overlapping lengthof adjacent boom sections and eliminate point contact or line contact betweenslider and boom, thus local buckling phenomenon is effectively avoided. Compactboom tail structure improves boom telescoping ratio, which effectively contributesto longer boom length.
